Why does my site need inbound links?

A:
Among the many on-page and off-page factors needed to obtain the much wanted results as getting high rankings in SERPs, the number one and most important is the off-page optimization factor of conducting link exchange programs or campaigns. A link, especially from a same related website and with an anchored keyword term is considered as a vote from the linking website. The more inbound links your site has, the greater the chances to achieve top ten rankings in the organic search engine result listings. The more relevant backlinks a website has from other authoritative websites, the more trusted is considered by major search engines.

Important note: it is not always the quantity adding value to your website, rather the quality (relevancy) of the links you can get. A very good and popular website is getting links without need of link building campaigns. These are considered votes from other websites and search engines are rewarding the linked website by increasing its rankings.
