When should I expect first results?

A:
Depending on the level of competitiveness of the niche category a website belongs, SEO results can vary from 30 days (existing, older sites) to 90 days or even a few years. After conducting a thorough and continuous link building campaign, results will not show instantly. There is a timeframe allocated for a link till its value is passed to the targeted web page. Besides, there are many other factors to be considered like how many same related websites are competing for a particular keyword term and how aggressively they are running their own optimization campaigns. In addition to this, there are the search engines which are repositioning their listings periodically varying from one to three or four months. It is also important how old is your domain and what history your domain has as well as how well your previous SEO campaigns have been conducted.

A bad reputation of your domain might affect your website negatively. Also be aware whenever a cheaper SEO offer you might get with the promise of getting you high ranked in a short period of time, most often spammy techniques would be used and the results will last for a short period of time as search engines will spot them quickly and the website will get penalized and its rankings would suddenly drop. After all, all that matters is how high the ROI is and it is by far the best option to apply to ethical SEO techniques, profitable in the long run with a high ROI than using unprofitable and unethical black hat techniques with short lived results.
