'backlink'

Also known as backward link or inbound link, which is actually a link pointing to your website. The more quality backlinks your site has, the better for your rankings.

'banned'

There are people who are trying to cheat search engine spiders with unethical means of black hat SEO techniques. This way they have the chance to get high ranked in a short period of time but they risk of being punished or banned for good by search engines.

'blog'

Also known as web log, it is usually a journal of an individual who is typically updating his log on a daily base which is publicly accessible and comments can be written about a particular topic.

'broken link'

We are talking about broken links, when the clicked link leads to nowhere or a 404 error page comes up instead of the page we should have been taken to.

'browser'

Better described as Web browser, it is a software used to display Website content. Some of the best known browsers are Microsoft Internet Explorer, Firefox, Netscape and Opera.
