'301 redirect'
This method of redirecting is used by webmasters usually when a website has been moved to another location (new domain name, URL).
The redirection will happen automatically without any intervention by the visitors to that particular website.
The 301 permanent redirection rules are also followed by search engine spiders who will read the content from the new place
(domain name).
'404 error page'
Most of us have encountered this message whenever we tried to access a page which either does not exist any more or the link
has been mistyped. Now there are methods to create a custom made 404 webpage in order to guide the users to the location they are
searching for.
